The border between Canada and The United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is an area that is in significant conflict.

An O.C.U. The reconnaissance unit under Captain Royd Clive is designated to investigate the U.C.S. munitions plant. They U.C.S. attack them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. The Wanzers. This sets off a chain of events, which plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd's fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.
